| First realistic equipement test for patagonia. Starting from Champery we went via the Pas d'Encel and the Cabane de Susanfe to the Col de Susanfe. Originally we wanted to camp right on the col, but could not find any water there. So we went down 400m on the other side, direction salanfe, where we found a very nice spot. The Exped tent proved to be excellent - and a real attraction for the local cows :-) Next day we went back up to the Col de Susanfe, climbed the Haute Cime, and returned to Champery. |
